Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply for their passion in nursing and being in the OR. Candidates with OR experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

The OR RN position requires 2+ years of OR experience (Peds), Ohio RN license, BSN in progress or completed, and active BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred. W2 employee status with weekly pay and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room and perform assessments.
• Assist the physician in implementing the plan of care and ensure patient safety during surgery.
• Maintain continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
