Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply their passion for pediatric surgery in a dynamic operating room environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of OR (Peds) experience, Ohio RN license, and a BSN degree or in progress. ACLS and BLS certifications are required; CNOR and additional pediatric plastics or laser experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required; BSN degree in progress acceptable.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the OR; assess and intervene to maintain safety during surgery.
• Assist physicians and ensure continuity of care between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
