Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN role involves perioperative nursing care and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure patient safety during procedures.

The ideal candidate will hold an Ohio RN license, a BSN degree (or be in progress), and current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS is preferred. Prior pediatric OR experience is strongly encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery. Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
