Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN for pediatric acute care in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity focuses on pediatric patients in the operating room, with duties including perioperative assessments and ensuring patient safety during surgery.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of OR (Peds) experience, Ohio RN license, BSN, and current BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred. CNOR is a plus, with flexible PRN scheduling and W2 employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must have American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• The OR RN provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room.
• Performs assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician and ensures continuity between the unit and OR.
