Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity offers flexible self-scheduling and the chance to care for pediatric patients undergoing surgery.

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years’ OR (Peds) experience, Ohio RN license, and a BSN or current progress toward it. BLS and ACLS are required; PALS preferred. CNOR desired. W2 status with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Requires Ohio RN license.
• Minimum 2-year OR (Peds) experience.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must have BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care and related experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the operating room for pediatric patients.
• Perform assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assist physician in implementing the plan of care and maintain continuity between unit and OR.
