Job summary

Workstream in Mesquite, TX is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. The role offers full-time or part-time schedules with a strong benefits package including PTO, medical options, a 401k, and professional development opportunities.

You will perform direct patient evaluations and treatments, primarily with pediatrics and some geriatric clients. AACOTE-accredited degree and Texas OT license are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctorate in Occupational Therapy per ACOTE.
• State of Texas License as an Occupational Therapist.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient evaluations, reevaluations, and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient evaluations, reevaluations, and treatment, which include:

• Mostly pediatrics including some geriatric patients
• Assessment of prior and current level of functioning.
• Setting appropriate goals.
• Making appropriate discharge recommendations in accordance with standards of practice.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of a master’s or doctorate program in Occupational Therapy certified by the Accreditation Council of Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)
• State of Texas License as an Occupational Therapist
• Valid Texas Driver’s License

Experience:

• No prior experience is required; we welcome candidates eager to learn!
