Job summary

MedCare Pediatric seeks a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to deliver one-on-one therapy, assess and develop individualized plans, and support children’s growth. You’ll work in a focused environment with resources for thorough documentation and family-centered care.

You will collaborate with families and an interdisciplinary team, maintain detailed records, and engage in mentorship and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Texas OT license or eligible to obtain before start date.
• Pediatric OT experience preferred; 1+ year preferred; new grads welcome.
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT interventions targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, strength, ROM, and activities of daily living.
• Educate and train families on strategies to support progress at home.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current Texas Occupational Therapy License (or eligible to obtain prior to start date)
• Pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred
• 1+ year of experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve functional skills and independence
• Provide occupational therapy interventions targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, strength, range of motion, and activities of daily living
• Educate and train families on strategies and techniques to support progress at home
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality, family-centered care
• COTA supervision experience is a plus
