Qualifications

• BSN required; candidates hired without BSN must obtain within 5 years
• Current BLS certification required
• Active Ohio RN license (MSL) required; MSL needed within 90 days for telenursing
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
• No supervision experience required

Responsibilities

• Supports provider staff and promotes efficient operation and quality care for pediatric patients
• Precepts new employees and mentors clinical staff
• Provides patient assessments as required
• Participates in staff education for clinically related issues
• Assesses clinical competency and participates in evaluations at 90 days and annually
• Advocates for child health and maintains a positive public image in interactions with families and vendors
• Provides care addressing physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs
• Facilitates discharge planning and requests consults as directed
• Performs other duties as required
