Job summary

Eligibility includes BSN, current BLS certification, an Ohio RN license (MSL when needed), and minimum two years of experience;

Qualifications

• BSN required; if not held, degree must be obtained within 5 years of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Valid Ohio RN license; Multistate License (MSL) required within 90 days for telenursing.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and staff guidance under physician direction.
• Supports providers and promotes efficient operation and quality pediatric care.
• Mentors new employees and acts as a clinical mentor.
• Performs patient assessments as needed.
• Contributes to staff education on clinical topics.
• Assesses clinical competency and participates in evaluations.
• Advocates for children's health and positive public image.
• Collaborates with families and other staff; supports discharge planning.
• Other duties as required.
