Job summary

Hibiscus Children’s Center seeks a capable supervisor to lead Mental Health Technicians in a therapeutic setting. The role focuses on scheduling, directing staff, and maintaining safe, supportive client care in collaboration with therapists and nursing staff.

You will admit new clients, maintain records, coordinate transportation, and ensure medication procedures when needed. The position requires CPR/First Aid, background clearance, and strong communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Two years supervisory experience.
• Minimum three years experience with at‑risk children/teens.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Background clearance and drug test required.
• Must be 23+ years old.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs; outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, supervise, direct and coach Mental Health Technicians.
• Maintain adequate direct care coverage to ensure client to staff ratio.
• Review shift activity and assign duties to Technicians.
• Provide feedback on performance to Technicians.
• Make transportation arrangements as needed.
• Admit new clients and complete necessary paperwork.
• Review daily logbook and document client information.
• Dispense meds to clients when nurse is unavailable.
• Communicate with therapist and Village Program Directors.
• Conduct shift change meetings and supervise volunteers.
