Job summary

Hibiscus Children’s Center is seeking a supervisor for Mental Health Technicians to oversee direct care for clients in a therapeutic setting. The role involves coordinating shift coverage, guiding staff on treatment plan goals, and ensuring accurate documentation and communication with therapists.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, coordinating with medical staff, and providing leadership during shifts to support residents and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Two years supervisory experience required.
• Minimum three years experience with at risk children/teens.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, supervise, direct and coach Mental Health Technicians.
• Maintain adequate direct care coverage to meet client-to-staff ratio.
• Review shift activity and assign Technicians to treatment plans.
• Provide feedback on performance and ensure shift safety and order.
• Complete daily logs and ensure records are accurate and signed.
• Dispense medications to clients when nurse is unavailable.
