Universal Hospital Services Inc. is hiring a Mental Health Technician (MHT) to join the team at Sandy Pines Residential Treatment Center, a facility dedicated to children and adolescents. The MHT will work under a registered nurse and engage in patient care supervision, lead groups, and ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of previous experience in a healthcare setting or prior behavioral health experience strongly preferred.
• Must pass competency exams within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide milieu management and continuous patient care supervision.
• Lead therapeutic MHT patient groups and conduct Q-15 rounds.
• Participate in crisis intervention situations as needed.
