Job summary

Advocate Health’s Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time RN for the Pediatric Medical/Surgical Float Team. You will provide and coordinate patient care across pediatric units with 12-hour shifts, 7 pm–7 am, and 2 shifts per week.

Weekend and holiday rotation is required, with orientation and cross-training opportunities after a year of experience. The role requires an accredited nursing program graduate, an active NC RN license, BLS, and PALS within six months.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA).
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Pediatric in-patient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
