Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital is seeking a skilled RN to join the Pediatric Medical/Surgical Float Team in Charlotte, NC. You will support general pediatric medical-surgical units and cross-train in specialty areas as needed, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include coordinating care using the nursing process, collaborating with teams, and contributing to a safe, compassionate patient environment across shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• PALS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
• At least one year of pediatric in-patient RN experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Education

Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program

Registered Nurse license issued by the state

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

PALS certification within 6 months of hire

Pediatric in-patient RN experience preferred
