Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Pediatric Med/Surg Float Team at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC. You will provide coordinated, evidence-based nursing care across pediatric units, with opportunities to cross-train in ED, CVICU, PICU, NICU, and Oncology chemo pathways.

Expect 7a–7p shifts, three 12-hour days per week, with weekend and holiday requirements. Must have RN licensure in the state, BLS, and PALS within six months of hire; a minimum of one year

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• PALS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
• At least one year of pediatric in-patient RN experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and clinical decision making.
