Job summary

Advocate Health’s Levine Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced Pediatric RN to join the Pediatric Med/Surg Float Team on a per-diem part-time basis in Charlotte, NC. You will support general pediatric medical-surgical units, with cross-training opportunities across subspecialties.

The role requires pediatric in-patient RN experience, an active RN license in North Carolina, BLS, and PALS within 6 months of hire. Weekend/holiday rotation and a 24-hour per week schedule apply.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association.
• PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• At least one year of pediatric in-patient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
