Job summary

Advocate Health’s Pediatric Med/Surg Float Team supports Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC, with cross-training opportunities to pediatric subspecialties. The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and PALS within 6 months, with a preference for 1 year of pediatric inpatient experience.

7a–7p shifts, 3x12s per week, weekend/holiday requirements. Base pay is $38.20–$57.30 per hour, plus a $6/hr float pool differential after orientation.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited/approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) required.
• PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• At least one year of pediatric in-patient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and positive patient experience.
