Job summary

Advocate Health's Pediatric Resource Team in Charlotte is seeking a part-time Resource Registered Nurse to float across designated facilities (LCH, Cabarrus, University, Pineville, Union). You will provide nursing care, support families, and collaborate with the care team in a fast-paced setting.

Requires a valid RN license and BLS; typically 1 year of clinical experience (BSN preferred). You will document in the EHR, uphold safety standards, and participate in ongoing education and quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license (multi-state compact) with privileges to practice.
• BLS certification; additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required based on specialty.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience; 2 years preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence care outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
