Job summary

Advocate Health's Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced RN to join the Pediatric Med/Surg Float Team, providing staffing across Levine Children's Hospital and related centers. You will coordinate patient care using nursing processes, support pediatric patients, maintain compliance with BLS and PALS, and cross-train in specialty areas as needed.

This is a full-time role with 36 hours per week and 7a–7p shifts, including weekends/holidays, plus a $6/hr float pool

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
• PALS certification is required within 6 months of hire
• At least one year of pediatric in-patient RN experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum
