Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Scheduling & Registration Associate for the Medical Imaging department.

You will handle inbound and outbound calls, schedule imaging procedures (X-ray, Ultrasound, CT), and coordinate with internal and external providers to ensure accurate information in Epic. You will verify demographics, confirm insurance coverage, complete registrations, and support families with next steps while maintaining HIPAA compliance and meeting quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Minimum of two years of call center or healthcare experience required.
• Some knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls for various modalities and schedule imaging appointments.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance; complete registration.
• Transcribe external imaging orders in Epic and schedule as requested.
