Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Radiographer I to perform general pediatric radiographic procedures, emphasizing safety, accuracy, and efficient data entry.

You will join a multidisciplinary team and support patient care across rotating evening and night shifts. The role requires ARRT certification within a year, IL licensure, and BLS, with proficiency in imaging software and EMR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification required within one year of hire and maintained.
• Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency with imaging software, EMR, and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; bilingual a plus.
• Ability to move and assist with patient/equipment up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform general Radiographic pediatric procedures with high accuracy and safety.
• Input patient demographics and exam data into imaging systems and EMR.
• Provide coverage for rotating shifts, on-call duties, holidays and PTO.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain knowledge of quality control procedures and regulatory standards.
• Adhere to safety policies and Joint Commission goals; ensure proper disinfection.
