Job summary

Caring Angels Home Care in New York is seeking a part-time and full-time Speech Language Pathologist for our home-based pediatric cases in Suffolk County. The base salary is $120,000 with medical/dental insurance, 401k after 3 months, PTO, holidays, and a $100 per 30-minute session FFs option.

We offer door-to-door car service to Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx and a mix of part-time and full-time schedules. Weekend caseload option is available.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed in NY as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates pediatric speech-language needs and delivers rehabilitative services.
• Conducts clinical tests and develops a care plan with goals.
• Performs SLP procedures to achieve goals and progress.
• Instructs patients and families in therapy techniques.
• Maintains patient records and discharge summaries.
• Collaborates with health team to optimize recovery.
• Reports initial findings and visit frequency to Nurse within 24 hours.
• Charts visit details per agency policy within 24 hours.
• Communicates with Nurse every two weeks about progress.
• Re-evaluates patients and updates progress and plans.
