Job summary

Qualifications

• Current graduate of a NY State SLP Masters program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates the Speech and Language rehabilitation needs and provides Speech and Language Rehabilitative Services as ordered by the Patient's Authorized Medical Practitioner.
• Performs clinical tests to assess Speech and Language disorders and develops a Plan of Care with restorative and/or maintenance goals to meet identified needs.
• Performs Speech Language Pathology procedures to achieve identified goals.
• Instructs Patients/Family and other health team personnel in the use of assistive modalities and appropriate Speech Language Procedures.
