Job summary

Caring Angels Home Care, LLC is seeking a part-time and full-time Speech Language Pathologist for home-based pediatric cases in the Bronx. Base salary $135,000 with full medical/dental, 401k after 3 months, 27 PTO days, 10 paid holidays, and $100 per 30-min session.

Door-to-door car service is provided for commuting. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, performing tests, developing plans of care, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Licensed in New York State as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA certification or clinical fellowship completion preferred.
• State licensure required to practice as an SLP in NY.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide speech-language rehabilitation services per physician orders.
• Perform clinical tests to assess disorders and develop a plan of care.
• Deliver SLP procedures to meet goals and document progress.
• Instruct patients and families in assistive modalities and SLP procedures.
• Maintain patient records, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with health team to shorten recovery and manage residual disabilities.
• Communicate with nurses regularly to discuss progress and care plan updates.
• Re-evaluate patients as needed and prepare progress reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or in emergencies.
