Job summary

New York Community Care is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for home-based pediatric caseloads in Manhattan. The role offers part-time and full-time options with a base salary of $125,000 and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, 401k after 3 months, 27 PTO days and 10 holidays. FFS at $100 per 30-minute session is available.

Qualifications

Currently licensed in New York State as a Speech Language Pathologist.
ASHA CCC certification required or current certification of clinical completion.

Responsibilities

Evaluates Speech and Language Rehabilitation needs and provides services as ordered.
Performs clinical tests to assess disorders and develops a care plan with goals.
Administers SLT procedures to achieve goals.
Instructs patients and families in use of assistive modalities.
Maintains patient records including treatment details and progress.
Collaborates with health team to shorten recovery and manage disability.
Makes initial visit findings and goals to Nurse, with report within 24 hours.
Charts visits and findings within 24 hours as required.
Communicates with Nurse every two weeks regarding progress.
Re-evaluates patients and completes progress reports.
