Job summary

Kester Search Group, LLC ® is seeking a high-performing sales professional to grow and manage a defined territory in pediatric genetics and molecular diagnostics. You will expand hospital system relationships, drive test adoption, and increase market share across ME, NH, VT, and Western MA.

The role requires communicating complex genomic testing solutions to physicians, genetic counselors, and clinical teams, closing deals, and developing strategic plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of customer-facing sales experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or biotech.
• Experience with NGS, molecular diagnostics, or genetics.
• Proven track record of closing complex sales and exceeding targets.
• Experience selling into hospitals, health systems, or clinical environments.
• Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Business, Marketing, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow a defined territory, meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
• Expand relationships within hospital systems and increase testing volume.
• Present genomic testing solutions to physicians, genetic counselors, and clinical teams.
• Identify new revenue opportunities through upselling and new account development.
• Develop and execute strategic territory and business plans.
• Partner cross-functionally with internal teams (Medical Science Liaison, Product, Market Access).
• Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and territory data to drive growth.
• Travel within the territory to meet with customers; occasional travel for conferences and meetings.
