Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Front Desk Clerk to join the clinic team, welcoming patient families and serving as a liaison between families and the clinical staff. You will report to the Primary Care Practice Manager and collaborate with coordinators for optimal patient flow.

This role requires at least a high school diploma and 1+ years in a healthcare setting. Proficiency with EPIC and MyChart is expected, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HSED required.
• 1+ years related work experience required; healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families at front desk, including check-in and check-out.
• Schedule appointments using EPIC and manage queues & registrations.
• Register patients/guardians in MyChart and obtain necessary consent/insurance information.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Ensure accurate data entry per scheduling modules and templates.
• Provide professional service and support across multiple locations as needed.
