PM Pediatrics is seeking a Front Desk Associate in New York to warmly welcome families and manage registration. You will handle patient questions, maintain accurate records, and ensure HIPAA compliance while supporting the medical team’s operations.

The role requires strong customer service, multi-tasking, and excellent communication. Previous healthcare front desk experience is preferred; a professional, friendly demeanor is essential.

• Greet families professionally in person and on the phone.
• Answer patient/family questions to the best of your ability and seek instruction when needed.
• Demonstrate empathy and active listening in difficult situations.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy.
• Handle opening/closing duties and organize workspace.

• Greets families professionally both in person and on the phone.
• Answers patient/family questions to the best of his or her ability and/or seeks clarification and instruction when needed
• Accesses empathy and active listening in difficult interpersonal situations
• Supports patient care quality initiatives as directed
• Coordinates escalations and urgent issues to ensure timely and complete resolutions
• Collaborates and communicates with site leadership to facilitate management of complex patient issues
• Monitors and manages patient flow throughout waiting and registration
• Registers all patients and maintains accurate patient accounts with demographics and insurance information
• Maintains confidentiality and privacy of all patient accounts and adheres to HIPAA guidelines
• Executes other duties as assigned
