Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and managed care preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Outlook; strong computer skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication in a pediatric setting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under stress.

Responsibilities

• Completes pre-registration and full registration for families as needed.
• Verifies eligibility information and collects payments as appropriate.
• Enter patient data into Epic and use MyChart/Care Everywhere as needed.
• Query EpicCare Link and coordinate orders when required.
• Schedule appointments including new, return, and same-day visits.
• Coordinate with providers and departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
