Job summary

Northwest Arkansas Pediatrics is seeking a friendly medical receptionist to greet patients, verify insurance eligibility, schedule appointments, and manage front-desk duties with a team-oriented approach.

We value outstanding customer service, attention to detail, and reliability in a fast-paced pediatric clinic environment. Occasional travel between Pinnacle Hills (Rogers) and Fayetteville locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous medical receptionist, clerical, or customer service experience preferred.
• Available to work Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
• Occasional travel between Pinnacle Hills (Rogers) and Fayetteville locations may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and families with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Check patients in and out; verify demographic information, insurance eligibility, and pre-visit screenings.
• Maintain accurate patient records; ensure current insurance cards and PHI forms are up to date.
• Verify insurance eligibility and Medicaid PCP assignments before appointments.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments per clinic guidelines.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at time of service.
• Answer and direct incoming calls; relay messages to appropriate staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
