Job summary

Northwest Arkansas Pediatrics is seeking a receptionist to join our team in Rogers. You will warmly welcome patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and help maintain accurate records for a smooth visit experience.

This Regular Full-Time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with occasional coverage travel between Pinnacle Hills and Fayetteville locations. A strong customer-service mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Previous medical receptionist, clerical, or customer service experience preferred.
Comfortable using electronic medical records and new technology.
Able to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Occasional travel between Pinnacle Hills (Rogers) and Fayetteville locations may be needed.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients and families with a friendly, professional attitude.
Check patients in/out; verify demographics, insurance eligibility, and pre-visit screenings.
Maintain accurate patient records and PHI forms; ensure up-to-date insurance cards.
Verify eligibility and Medicaid PCP assignments before appointments.
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments per clinic guidelines.
Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at the time of service.
Answer and direct incoming calls; relay messages to appropriate staff.
Perform other duties to support the team.
