Job summary

Northwest Arkansas Pediatrics, a MANA Clinic, is seeking a friendly medical receptionist to greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and manage schedules on a Monday–Friday daytime shift at our Rogers location.

The role requires strong customer service, multitasking, and attention to detail, with travel between Pinnacle Hills and Fayetteville locations as needed. Training provided for EMR systems and clinic procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous medical receptionist, clerical, or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Occasional travel between Pinnacle Hills (Rogers) and Fayetteville clinic locations may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and families with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Check patients in and out while verifying demographic information, insurance eligibility, and pre-visit screenings.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure current insurance cards are on file.
• Verify insurance eligibility and Medicaid PCP assignments before appointments.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments following clinic guidelines.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at the time of service.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and relay messages to staff.
• Perform other duties to support the team.
