RWJBarnabas Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pediatric Float Pool across NICU/PICU/Peds units in New Jersey. The role requires an active NJ RN license, BLS, and a strong foundation in evidence-based pediatric care.

Typical duties include comprehensive assessments, safe medication administration, and family education, with a focus on seamless interdepartmental collaboration. The position involves night shifts (7p–7:30a), a 36-hour weekly schedule, and rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; emergency/ER experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Provide safe medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately.
