RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Pediatric Float Pool covering NICU/PICU/Peds. This night-shift role emphasizes bedside care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and patient-family education. A NJ RN license and BLS are required, with ER experience and EPIC familiarity preferred.

Work hours are 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a 36-hour week and rotating holidays. Join a supportive team delivering high-quality pediatric care within a leading New Jersey health system.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Experience in emergency room nursing preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems (EPIC) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and with clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families clearly, supporting informed decisions.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and promote effective communication.
