Job summary

Miami Neuroscience Institute at Baptist Health South Florida seeks an experienced RN to join the Pediatric Emergency and Level I Trauma team. You will assess, implement, and evaluate plans of care for critically ill children, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, family-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include Florida RN licensure, active BLS and PALS within 2 years; CPI within 1 year. ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• RNs must hold Florida RN license or eNLC.
• CPR/BLS must be active.
• PALS required within 2 years.
• CPI required within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, evaluate plan of care for pediatric emergency and Level I trauma patients.
• Communicate patient progress with physicians and care teams with close loop communication.
• Perform procedures such as IV placement, specimen collection, and medications administration per policy.
• Provide 1:1 patient care and assist with patient transport within the hospital.
• Complete discharge planning accurately and document in EMR.
