Qualifications

• RN licensure: Florida or Multi-State Compact (eNLC)
• CPR BLS active
• PALS active within 2 years
• CPI active within 1 year

Responsibilities

• Completes comprehensive multi-system assessments including Cardiac, Respiratory, and Neurological.
• Communicates patient progress with physicians and involved disciplines with close loop documentation.
• Provides care such as IV starts/monitoring, specimen collection, POC testing, meds administration, and assists with procedures including sedation as required.
• Supports 1:1 care for critical patients and transports within the hospital for procedures.
• Completes bedside hand-off at shift change and during transfers.
• Reviews admission histories and completes discharge planning with accurate EHR documentation.
• Responds to codes/trauma; documents and acts per policies.
• Ensures accurate triage documentation and vital signs history per procedures.
• Accesses EMR for radiology workflow, consents, and discharge documentation.
• Documents critical lab results per policy.
• Completes rounds for comfort, pain assessment, and family needs.
• Maintains an error-free environment with high-quality safe care.
• Uses PPE properly and adheres to safety protocols.
• Meets hospital CEI/SEI standards and regulatory requirements; timely documentation.
• Supervises, observes behavioral health patients; adheres to CPI non-violent crisis intervention strategies.
