Job summary

The Miami Neuroscience Institute at Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a dedicated RN for Pediatric Emergency and Level I Trauma care. You will assess, implement, and supervise plans of care in a fast-paced, team-based environment, upholding Magnet standards and patient rights.

Applicants should have Florida RN licensure (or eNLC), BLS, and PALS within 2 years, with ACLS preferred within 1 year. EMR proficiency and strong communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida or Multi-State compact in good standing.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.
• PALS within 2 years.
• CPI certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Assess multi-system status and develop plan of care for pediatric patients.
• Communicate progress with physician and care team with close-loop documentation.
• Start/monitor IVs, collect specimens, POC testing and med administration.
• Transport critical patients for procedures and provide 1:1 bedside care.
• Complete discharge planning and accurate EMR documentation.
