Pscfl seeks a dedicated RN for Pediatric Emergency and Level I Trauma care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assess and manage cares, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure safe, family-centered care under supervision of Nursing leadership.

The role emphasizes on-call coverage, code response, accurate documentation, and adherence to Magnet standards and patient rights. Prioritize learning and compassionate care in a high-volume environment.

Qualifikationen

• RN licensure in Florida or multi-state compact (eNLC).
• BLS certification must be active.
• PALS certification within 2 years.
• CPI certification within 1 year.
• ACLS preferred within 1 year of hire.

Aufgaben

• Perform comprehensive multi-system assessments for pediatric ER patients and develop care plans.
• Communicate progress with physicians and care team, ensuring accurate handoffs.
• Administer medications, start/monitor IVs, and assist with procedures including sedation as required.
• Provide 1:1 patient care for critical cases and transport as needed.
• Complete discharge planning and accurate electronic documentation.
• Respond to codes and traumas per policy; document lab results and orders.
• Ensure accurate triage documentation and timely EMR entries.
• Maintain infection control and PPE guidelines; support continuous unit CEI/SEI goals.
