Thom Child & Family Services in Boston, MA seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide home and community-based early intervention for infants and toddlers birth to three and their families. You will collaborate with parents to tailor evidence-based plans that fit family priorities and cultural context.

The role includes multidisciplinary assessments, IFSP development, and ongoing mentoring. Comprehensive benefits, flexible scheduling, and professional development support are offered.

Formación

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Health Professions
• Experience with infants, toddlers and families is preferred
• Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development
• Ability to engage in meaningful, therapeutic relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners
• Commitment to delivering individualized and culturally humble services
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
• Abide by all confidentiality and professional boundaries standards
• Good computer skills and documentation skills
• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual/Bicultural a plus

Responsabilidades

• Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments of the client’s developmental status
• Assess family and child strengths/resources, concerns, and progress
• Provide child and family centered services and activities developmentally appropriate for children birth to three and their families using parent coaching model
• Provide service coordination by scheduling, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the intervention plan for each family, ensuring timelines are followed
• Partner with families in the development of IFSPs to identify goals, objectives, and strategies related to the child’s development
• Facilitate parent-child interactions to encourage child\'s development; assist families to act as advocates for their child
• Complete progress notes, reports, assessments, and correspondence using the Thom electronic documentation system
• Provide individual and group intervention for infants and toddlers from birth to three years old who have developmental delays or who are at risk for delays
