Job summary

Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This role requires high autonomy in critical care and direct patient management within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include ventilatory support, ECMO/CRRT as indicated, education of staff and learners, and collaboration with physicians to provide top-tier critical care for diverse pediatric patients.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a Critical Care or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Current Pennsylvania CRNP licensure and national certification.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; acute critical care focus preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Pediatric ICU with autonomous practice under collaborative agreement.
• Manage all modes of mechanical ventilation, ECMO, and CRRT as applicable.
• Educate residents, nurses, and students; collaborate with attending physicians and care teams.
