Penn State Health's Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Hershey is seeking a Physician Assistant to work in a critical care intensivist role. This position requires the ability to progress to a high level of autonomy and independence, with direct patient care and adherence to supervising guidelines.

The PA provides care to a variety of patients and manages all modes of mechanical ventilation, ECMO, and CRRT, with bone marrow transplant experience but not solid-organ transplants.

Formación

• Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment.
• National Certification in State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
• Manage all modes of mechanical ventilation, ECMO and CRRT.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, fellows, residents, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate residents, nurses, students and other healthcare professionals.
