MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver one-on-one therapies in homes, schools, and daycares across Greater Houston. You will work with children to improve functional skills in comfortable settings.

The role offers flexible scheduling (Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN), sign-on bonus, and dedicated supervision plus opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license by anticipated start date.
• One year of pediatric or related experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist according to physician-approved treatment plans.
• Implement interventions to improve strength, mobility, coordination, fine motor skills, activities of daily living, and overall functional independence.
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
