MedCare Pediatric Group in Texas is seeking a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver one-on-one pediatric therapy in home, school, or daycare settings within Greater Houston and surrounding areas. You will work under OT supervision, focusing on improving strength, mobility, and daily living skills while educating families and documenting progress.

Applicants should be a graduate of an accredited OTA program with a Texas COTA license; pediatric experience preferred

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas COTA license by anticipated start date.
• One year pediatric experience preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist according to physician-approved treatment plans.
• Implement interventions to improve strength, mobility, coordination, fine motor skills, activities of daily living, and overall functional independence.
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications:
