Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver one-on-one therapy across homes, schools, and daycares in the Greater Houston area. You will work under a licensed OT, following physician-approved treatment plans, with flexible scheduling for Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN roles.

This role emphasizes family education, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and meaningful patient care while supporting professional growth and work-life

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas COTA license by start date.
• One year of pediatric or related experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist according to physician-approved treatment plans.
• Implement interventions to improve strength, mobility, coordination, fine motor skills, activities of daily living, and overall functional independence.
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Pay:

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
