Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group seeks a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver one-on-one pediatric therapy in homes, daycares, and schools across Greater Houston and surrounding areas. Work under a licensed OT with flexible scheduling and support from a collaborative team.

Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN options available; pay is $35.00 - $40.00 per hour, plus a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits to support patient care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas COTA license by anticipated start date.
• One year of pediatric or related experience preferred; new graduates encouraged.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist according to physician-approved treatment plans
• Implement interventions to improve strength, mobility, coordination, fine motor skills, activities of daily living, and overall functional independence
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
