MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver one-on-one pediatric OT in homes, schools, and daycares across the Greater Houston area. You will join a collaborative team that supports professional growth and balanced caseloads.

Qualified candidates include graduates of an accredited OTA program with a Texas COTA license and pediatric experience; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas COTA license by anticipated start date.
• One year pediatric experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide OT services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implement interventions to improve fine motor skills, mobility, ADLs, and functional independence.
• Educate families and caregivers on techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Qualifications & Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license by anticipated start date
• One year of pediatric or related experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist according to physician-approved treatment plans
• Implement interventions to improve strength, mobility, coordination, fine motor skills, activities of daily living, and overall functional independence
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
