Cottage Health's CMG Pediatric Multispecialty Clinic in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a Clinic Care Coordinator to welcome patients, schedule appointments, and manage administrative tasks for the medical team. You will handle registrations, check-ins, and payments, and explain intake and consent forms to new patients.

Key duties include transcribing referrals into the EMR, routing patients through the referral process, obtaining authorizations when needed, and coordinating with the Navigation

Qualificações

• Minimum: Basic MS Word & min 35 wpm typing speed.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred for Peds OP Clinic.
• Minimum: Six months clerical experience.
• Preferred: 1 year clerical experience in a medical environment performing referrals and authorizations.

Responsabilidades

• Interact with patients and visitors at the clinic and handle administrative tasks for the medical team.
• Receive phone calls and schedule patient appointments according to physician availability.
• Explain intake forms and consent forms to new patients; process payments.
• Perform patient registration, check-in and check-out.
• Transcribe patient referrals into the EMR system and index accompanying paperwork.
• Navigate patients through the referral process and manage related tasks for the clinic care team.
