Optum Pediatric Urgent Care of Wantagh is seeking a Part-Time Associate Patient Care Coordinator in Wantagh, NY. The role supports registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and coordination of follow-up care in a fast-paced clinic.

The position involves working a 20.5-hour week with shifts between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, including holidays, and requires strong customer service and data entry skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of computer proficiency and multitasking across monitors.
• 1+ years of customer service or healthcare experience.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to travel to other offices if needed for coverage.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and family members with a friendly manner.
• Assist patients with signing in and completing registration.
• Schedule appointments for new or established patients.
• Verify insurance benefits and enter data into Epic.
• Coordinate follow-up care and referrals as needed.
• Cross-train as a medical assistant when required.
