Job summary

Northeast Arc is seeking a Behavior Therapist to deliver ABA services in home and community settings in the Waltham area. You will work with children ages 15 months to 12 years with ASD or Down syndrome alongside BCBAs and staff, using Natural Environment Training and evidence-based approaches.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, adherence to treatment plans, and providing compassionate support in various environments. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's in a related field; RBT may substitute.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; highly organized and flexible.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; reliable and confidential.

Responsibilities

• Provide home and community-based ABA support.
• Work with individuals and families in natural environments to improve communication, daily living, social, and adaptive skills.
• Implement goals and strategies from treatment plans under supervision.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and supervision sessions.
• Complete session notes and data; manage non-clinical paperwork.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of clients.
