Qualifications

Active PE license in civil/geotechnical/structural or ability to obtain by comity within 90 days.
6+ years in construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering, or special inspection with client-facing responsibility.
Track record or credible plan for bringing in work and pricing/contracts.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a book of clients for materials testing, special inspection, and geotechnical services.
Scope, price, and write proposals; negotiate terms and convert opportunities into signed work.
Serve as engineer of record on won projects: review data, seal reports/letters, and coordinate with lab staff.
Direct technicians and inspectors and represent the company at meetings and events in your market.
Travel to client offices and jobsites as required; work with Sugar Land laboratory and platform for proposals and reporting.
